Gym Hell...

I was in the school big gym Mr. Utter had us all run around the gym carrying red brick cubes and for us to get ready for "The Big Run" I took 34** (The *'s are unknown numbers) Rads like in fallout 3. Mr. Utter said it's to make sure we aren't playing fallout 3 and instead resting for "The Big Run" I got pretty tired when running. The old P.E. Aids handed us the red brick cubes when we were running and various other objects like fold-able chairs and white cubes I held 2 cubes in my shirt when running.

Next Dream...

I somehow met this girl and I liked her we were walking through a haunted bookstore or library and faces were appearing everywhere she ran off alone to do something and then we met up and left. It was daylight outside in the what I assume is a parking lot I think there was a dumpster beside us. We went to her house which was one of the apartments from across the street of our house. There was a police car with its lights flashing on the street facing her house. We stood behind it but she walked up to it to see who's inside while I said "No!" She then walked back to me and then I suddenly became her.

I walked to her house and inside was really weird I can't describe it. It was kind of messy and the roof was two big boards making a triangle above the living space but your head easily touched the ceiling. I took a chunk out of it because I think I was in trouble (Remember I am the girl here) I got yelled at by her mom because I think she said "YOUR FATHER WORKED REALLY HARD FOR THAT ROOF!" Or something like that so I think I ran away.


Weird...

Next Dream... Mom finally gave birth to a baby girl! And Praline was made into a LOLcat!

My Brother's (non-lucid) dream...

He spent all morning writing it down and request I post it here:

It takes place in the scary corn maze during the sunset (where people jump out at you in masks and scream). But it was odd instead the fire pit near the entrance there was just a huge field. And in the field was the clown zombie from Left 4 Dead 2 it was talking to a man. I don't know what about. But after that a show started the clown had friends they had R/C cars and they used the tracks the tires made to make a picture of the clowns head. And as they did so they ran over a womans foot on purpose. After that I was sinking and yelling but no one would help me up until I was suddenly pulled up and I was free. After that mom took me into the maze and the dream ended...

I was playing counter strike: Source and owning everyone in cs_office but then i went down into something and got ambushed and died.

Well I tried the white noise/ping-pong ball technique during the long car ride today (without the ping pong balls) I had my Mp3 player that luckily had an FM radio. I lay down in the car with my pillow and Skullcandy earbuds with static blasting so it's the only thing I can hear. I zone out a little but nothing to great.

At our first bathroom stop I was waken up from my zone but I didn't get out. I recognized the place we were at without really looking and I lied back down to sleep without static. And I had a mini daydream of Becca being behind the car. And for some reason I thought to myself "Becca is the ONLY one there (or here I'm not sure)"

Then I suddenly felt a bit of that drowsy feeling like I often do when entering sleep paralysis. Knowing that I was about to enter SP I stayed still and then I SHOT INTO IT! Paralyzed nothing but black! I experimented with hallucinations I got the sensation of a spider crawling on my face or some kind of bug and I thought to myselfy "What if I hear knocking?" I shortly after heard knocking on the window I tried to bring on a lucid dream but I slipped out of SP gently because I got too excited... Then shortly after everyone got back in the car and I went to sleep after everything settled down...

Dream From Last night and another one from a while ago...

I should really update this the instant I remember it and from now on I will keep a flashlight notebook and pen by my bed so I can write it down and post it here later but here we go...

Last Night: I only remember Jenny, John and I searching for something in a building with escalators by us.

While ago: I had started putting Corn Huskers Lotion on my hands so they got softer and there is this Friend Quiz thing on FaceBook and someone answered that I do not have soft hands. Since now I do Audrey felt my hands in dream and I said "See They're soft."

GOT A (Short) LUCID!!!

I remembered more non-lucid dreams from last night but I forgot them because I had to go somewhere this morning maybe I will remember later today and edit but I had a short lucid last night! It was SOOOOO REAL!

I was in a room and there where words spraypainted with a stencil on the wall the walls were brick yellow/orange or pale orange. I remember the words "Gorrilla" & "Stinky" but not in that order. Also in a non lucid I think there was something about a bathroom...

Such a Spaz I am...

I was going to talk to some kid and I was REALLY annoying him about what I wanted to say to try and be funny. I didn't know him but Nicholas was to the left of him at a square table like thing still orange or yellow or pale orange tiles. Standing up I lean to him poking his hand alot while he's talking to what I think is a girl across from the both of them. The point is I was getting the "Don't become that kid in 4th grade feeling." from Nick. So I looked away in shame or shyness playing with a corn starch/water white mixture on the table or something.

1: I am in a weird school and here is what happened in it in no order: I was talking with Mr. Davis (shop teacher) about building some sort of flying thing I showed him what I had and it was a flat square that was a green board with circuits all over it like a computer chip it fit my whole hand. it had a silver cover on the bottom. I showed him how I was gonna put wings on it then I explained that they wouldn't be normal wings they would be wide. I said "Have you ever seen Star Trek?" and tried to draw the wings I thought of but I couldn't find paper. I think Andy and AJ were there trying to talk to him.

2: Mom's baby died or something or she was getting an abortion :( I was up high while mom and other people were in a circle or something I got down and I think she was crying.

3: I went into the bathroom the ceiling was really high! all I saw was a big line of urinals and some were mounted on the wall up high with a hole in the bottom. I thought they were old. All the rooms were yellow or orange or something tiles...

Obstacle course thing...

1: I think I was a racing some girl or something across water there was a minimap at the top right of my vision with white dots representing obstacles. We jumped on logs and balls and I think I fell and lost or something...

2: I found myself in my bed but with the girls mom floating over me in a black and white spotted dress I couldn't see her fae but her head was toward the wall...

It's the zombie apocalypse... (Jumbled up in no order)

(Fragment 1): I was in my house by the couch and I heard the zombie hoard screaming like in Left 4 Dead. I later looked outside to see an astonishingly huge pile of dead zombies on the street. It was dusk I guess.

(Fragment 2): I was holding an auto shotgun and it was really long and I could barely reach the thing you pull to reload so I think I gave up on it. I was on my way to a club or something in an alley between a bunch of tall rocks and a metal building.

(Fragment 3): Dad went outside with some other guy in a field of wheat I watched him out a wide window.

Left 4 Dreams (Fragments in no order)

(Fragment 1): I was at an amusement park with my family there were tons of rides but I could only go on a few because of money or tickets I guess I went on some with Cameron but I didn't get to ride the big one I wanted to.

(Fragment 2): I remember being some sort of ghost spirit in a haunted house in a video game. I was a girl and I was floating around the house. The game took control of the camera and showed an artifact the humans needed to collect but it also showed that I was hiding there so I was forced to move I went into someones room and danced and sung about being a 7 year old ballerina or something. I leaned against some guy that was sleeping and he reached down and slapped me on my left cheek.

(Fragment 3): I was in a giant level designer designing the amusement park but I ended up making a bunch of rocks with water and waterfalls I didn't want waterfalls so I tried to destroy them. I learned about a creature that caused rock avalanches. It is a giant thing that is covered with rocks and it has a rock in the back of its head and if you take it out a hole is made there and all the rocks fall off I guess causing the avalanche.

(Fragment 4): I was playing as Zoey in Left 4 Dead I ran to the safe house and closed the door. Everything went blurry and I think I heard Louis' "Woo-Hoo-Hoo!" I opened a white door to exit There were 2 zombies the female ones from the game gray pants black sweatshirt and medium red-dish hair. The one to the right opened it's face up and shot out a smoker tongue with a gourd-dish color at me. Then I found myself behind a desk with the door still ahead of me I saw a Boomer out the door and somehow I found a smoker in front of me behind the desk I kept hitting and it trying to slap it and everything with my bare hands it flinched a bit... That's all I remember right now and once again I apologize for not posting more dreams but I haven't been recalling very good lately...

Water bending!

Part 1: I woke up everything was dark. I heard the dishwasher running so I decided to get out of bed and empty it to surprise mom. No lights were on though except for the ones in the kitchen over the counter. While I am staring at the dishes I hear clanking of dishes like someone is already emptying it. I close the dishwasher and try the lights again but it doesn't work I go to wake up mom, scared and she said let the lights warm up. When I came back in the living room they were on.

Part 2: I remember something about packing up for a trip. I was in the kitchen on the counter there was a measuring cup filled completely with water and yellow muck in it and there was another measuring cup with an unknown liquid and some other cup with an unknown liquid. Suddenly the first cup over flows and goes all over the counter then it goes gathers all back up and slides up the side of the cup and goes back in and the water level lowers to normal. I figure it must have been me. So I turn on the sink and then go over to the light switch and switch it off and on. When its on the water shoots into the sink when its off the sink is normal. I go in the living room with a water bottle. I throw the water on the carpet and try to take it out of the carpet with my power but I fail.

Part 3: I was in the desert. I saw a landscape with layers of red color then I found myself in the car with Hudson and Cameron.

Part 4: We went to a restaurant or something in the middle of nowhere and I think this is where I tried to explain my power to mom.

Part 5: Mom and I took Ashley to get a costume somewhere because she was in a play. There were costume racks just like the ones at church for the living nativity. She finds it and sits in a chair to get it stitched with a stitching gun. Mom says "Oh let's get stitches!" I say "No I'm scared." She says "awww" I walk backwards out of the room and I see John getting his costume stitched in the next. The stitching gun looks like our glue gun with a pretty thick needle coming out of it and a white string on the tip. I think that mom was sad so I try and run to her to get the stitches with her but the dream cuts off there.

Ninja Assassin 4!

I tried MILD last night... It didn't work... I remember finding a slip of paper like netflix only it was white labeled "Ninja Assassin 4" On the bookshelf of my bunkbed. It was in our room. Jenny O'Grady was leaning against dad's bed. Holding another movie slip with a picture of what appears to be Tootsie... Someone else was claiming how it's more appropriate...

Another part... I was in a theater there were 4 posters. The one to the left was tinted blue with a man on it. And I have seen that movie in my dreams before! There were 3 others. A woman was in front of the posters. I ask her about movies she says that the ones to the left and the right are available but only on "Half-Deaf" (That means it is like playing in half sound for Deaf People.) Everything else is sold out. I remember saying "They must be packed!". Luke and a few of his buddies (whom I don't know) are hanging out in the theater lobby. Which is a big room with a 3 person couch in the corner and some other object. Luke sat on the couch. I sat on something else and everyone else stood up...

So tired...

Well... After I went to bed for my 3rd WILD attempt I fell asleep and I'm still painfully tired... I was only asleep for a max of 4 hours so I didn't complete a one of my memorable REM cycles so I don't have any recordable dreams...

Failed WILD!

Well my WILD failed... Both attempts. I fell asleep at around 3:00AM and Woke up at exactly 7:01AM... I used the restroom hopped online and looked at a WILD tutorial and made sure my eyes were exposed to plenty of light. I go to bed with earplugs in at around 7:25-ish and it is too bright but I continue on... I get pretty numb but I eventually give up... I cover up the window with spare blankets and close the door which made the room comfortably dark for a WILD. I was doing great breath in... Relax... and I repeated "I am going to have a lucid dream. I will go from waking to lucidity" literally countless times! But... I was painfully hungry... I could stand it for a very long time... But eventually... I gave up... I need to eat! So I'm going to eat and go to bed again and try WILDing!

UPDATE: Just ate a HUGE piece of turkey and half a diet pepsi... Here I go again... 11:30...

Mini-Update

Well... Unsuccessful with the WILD. Near the end Father came in and turned on the light in an attempt to awaken me. I lived with the light for a while but eventually I decided to call it quits. I got fairly numb throughout my body but no sleep paralysis. So far the only lucid induction technique that works for me is WBTB even then it's hard to concentrate. Well practice makes perfect I suppose.

Mini-Update!

Going to go and try the WILD technique with earplugs in sitting up slightly on my back in a dark room... Wish me luck!

Update and Dream Journal Entry Number Two

Well... I didn't do the WBTB technique because I figured "Hey! I could try and WILD all night!" But unfortunately I fell asleep shortly after...

Dream 2: I remember a castle with a lake surrounding it and green hills and trees in the distance and a spinning loading circle in the top right. As the circle spun the world cycled through day and night fast. Little segments of the castle were being removed over time. I specifically remember the left side of the castle had a dragon statue sticking out of it...

Dream 3 (same night) (Fragments):

Fragment 1: Kid named Brian attempted to beat me up. Maybe he tried to kill me other kids went inside of school or some other building while Brian and I are outside he is hold ing me back beating me. I get a couple good hits in and then I get away.

Fragment 2: There is some kind of talent show going on and there is very long platform sticking out from a ledge in the building kids walk onto the platform and I think someone named Drew did gymnastics he had red hair. I think I was still avoiding brian. I somehow ended up in a car with my mother I asked if I had a black eye where Brian punched me she said yes...

Fragment 3: I end up in some sort of store. My friend Devin who is in college is working there along with someone else. There is some kind of contest going on I think it's trivia or a search the store thing. I ask Devin about the contest he said "I'm not gonna tell ya." and he shook his head with a smile as he said it. There are glass counters much like the ones in arcades that you get your prizes from. There was candy under them and Devin and the other guy were selling the candy. Another friend of mine Caitlin bought 3 or 4 red gum balls from the other guy while I was standing next to Devin. Caitlin bent over and put the gum balls on a small thing that had them roll down a metal track it was like this thing but just the track. I don't know why she did it. Later I decided to buy some candy but not from Devin or the other guy. I bought it from an old guy. At first I wanted some gum balls but I changed my mind and got green sticks that were twisted with gummy stuff in the middle. They were all green even the ones under the counter.

Dream Journal Entry One

Well... No lucid dream tonight, unfortunately... Sorry I didn't post in around 2-4 in the afternoon but since it's thanksgiving I had to spend all day with my family. Not complaining or anything though. And actually... No recordable dream either. I'm going to go to bed at around 12AM and getting up at 5 or so. As you can guess I am attempting the WBTB technique again. Well happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Start of Dream Journal and Introduction to Lucid Dreams

Well I'm not sure what to write right now since I haven't been asleep yet. But I shall explain my plans to try and induce lucidity tonight. Actually, I suppose I will try and define what a "lucid dream" is. Through my research (i.e. Wikipedia).

A lucid dream is a dream in which the sleeper is aware that he or she is dreaming. When the dreamer is lucid, he or she can actively participate in and often manipulate the imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreams can seem extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.

There are a quite a few ways people have achieved lucid dreams. But here are some of the more common ones.

A dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD) starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes that he or she is dreaming.

A wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state with no apparent lapse in consciousness.

A mnemonic-initiated lucid dream (MILD) can happen when the dreamer intentionally affirms to himself or herself that he or she will become lucid during the upcoming sleep. Reaching lucidity can sometimes occur due to dream-signs or spontaneously upon remembrance.

And another is the WBTB (Wake Back To Bed) Technique has actually worked for me on several occasions. And I'm sure you have experienced this without knowing. Here is an example situation: It's your day off and the sun shines through the windows it wakes you up and you are incredibly drowsy. You go to the bathroom and try to watch television or check facebook but too tired you go back to bed and you near instantly go to sleep.

Then somehow you realize you are sleeping... Everything is black... You can control your breathing somewhat and if you live with other people you can shout at them "WAKE ME UP! WAKE ME UP!" And sometimes you hear them responding (Actually they are not really responding and you aren't shouting. Your brain just creates the simulation for you.)

However you CAN wake yourself up. You tense your muscles and try to jerk yourself around and it seems to take an incredible amount of energy. But eventually you jerk yourself awake. What just happened was your brain was active while your body fell asleep . I know sounds crazy right? You were so tired you went into a deep state of relaxation. And if you wish to enter a lucid dream you can use this state to your advantage! If you want to know more about the WBTB technique read this tutorial.

Well now that we've got that all covered I will continue to explain to you what I was going to do tonight... I am planning... To eat... An enormous amount of cheese! Yes, Cheese... I don't know either I just read it somewhere and I conveniently have a half block of cheese in my refrigerator so good night everyone!
